I've been there. It's a good park. I thing us RV'ers can get Power and Water. Dump Station closeby.
We had a group of guys that go there every year for Bass Fishing. I was looking at a lot to put a Pre-Fab home on a couple of years back.
Knocti (sp) Mean anything? Wife works for plumbers pension plans. Too bad she doesn't get the same deal as those guys. ;-)
Anyways, busy place Memorial Day I would think. We'll have to make plans in the next day or two if you even think we have a chance at a site. I have to think about this one.
Who's in at this point? Or, are we gonna do this one off the cuff?
Konocti is the volcano that dominates the lake. The pic below is the view of it from my house. It's also the name of the rather well-known resort that has all the great concerts, Konocti Harbor Resort & Spa.
I don't know if we'll do anything up here, there doesn't seem to be a lot of interest for most folks in coming clear up here. More likely we'll do something at Micke Grove in Lodi, but nobody seems to be really definite about it so I don't know...
It doesn't have to be a holiday weekend for any/all of us to meet.
It can be any planned weekend.
I use to leave work on Fridays, after work, drive up north near the Oregon border to camp/fish and then drive back home Sunday afternoon. Did that three times a month, during the summer season.
Well, there's only a week left and everyone seems to be sort of wishy-washy about the whole thing, nobody has said they will definitely be there. I suppose Karl and I could come back from Nevada and detour to Micke Grove for a GTG on Monday if everyone wants to do that, but I'd sure hate to show up and be the only ones there...we'll probably be sick of each other by then anyway...

. . . . I suppose Karl and I could come back from Nevada and detour to Micke Grove for a GTG on Monday ...
You are the only guy I know who would drag a three axle trailer 1000 miles, half the time with a truck on it, and consider going 100 miles out of your way just to be nice.
Na, I will bring some bluegrass on a CD, and we will try not to miss you too much.
btw, you taking the truck to your place? If so, I will come up and fool around on it, help pull the engine and see what went wrong. Did I ever tell you that I did destructive testing on electronic devices for several years?
It is fun to blow things up when you do not have to pay for the damage!
I am planning on keeping it at my home in Vallejo. I would feel bad letting my truck make an oil puddle in someone else's driveway. I also hope to work on the body while the engine is out getting fixed.
Sure, I know Dan worries a lot about oil spots in his yard.
But I do understand - I would prefer to have it at home myself. Don't mean to slight your home, it is just that I can park my camper near Dan's and take my naps when needed, even go to bed early if I want.
