Engine temperature switch
Hello,
I just put some mechanical guages in. I have a question on the water temp.
Is there only two sencers for temp?
Which sender is for the temp guage on the dash? I thought i replaced the correct one ( the one on the driver side head). Then I saw the old gauge rise when the new one did. I don't want to disconect the the sender that controles the "cold advance solenoid" or the "low idle solenoid".

The 112*F switch for the cold advance is on the top front passenger side, just behind the radiator hose outlet. Two on the drivers side, one is a temp indicator and the other is the overheat light I believe, not sure which is what!

Cold advance swtich has 2 wires on it neer the t stat, sender for dash gauge, drivers side neer water pump below AC compressor it has one wire , Over heat sender is in drivers side cylinder head has one wire
