460 into ranger

460 into ranger

Has any one done a 460 into a small ford ranger? I dont know if there is even enough room to do this. I have seen quite a few small block rangers but not a big block.

Thanks, I have sent you my email address. I have been considering several diff. build ideas like a 460 mustang, but a 460 ranger would be a cool build.

Might be more of a challenge getting it to hook up. Do some nasty burn outs or dounuts unless you carry a half yard of sand in the bed.

4 link or ladder bars and slicks, should make one hook if properly set up. It would be a heck of a ride.

Make sure you also runa full cage to tie it all together, let alone protect you when you can't gather it up at 135.

just talk to monsterbaby- hes the 460 forum moderator and runs a 460 based stroker in his race truck- a ranger. he should be able to tell you anything you need to know if youre serious about the swap.
