4.2 To V8
I Have A 5.4 And Trans Out Of A 01 Lightning And A 351 Out Of A 19?? F150/bronco. I Want To Remove My 4.2 5 Speed With One Of These Engines. Which One Would Be The Best. Would My 5 Speed Mount To Either Trans? I Can Also Get A 302 Stroked If Needed I Just Dont Know Which Route To Take

The 5speed, M5O5 I believe, may bolt up to the 5.4L but it won't hold up very well, it won't bolt up to a 351 or 302. I am sure there are adapters for plenty of $$. FWIW the tranny out of the L is a 4R100.
If I misunderstood the question the 4R100 will bolt to the 5.4L and may bolt to the 4.2L.
