drains in stack pipeing

I have a ??? for all of you guys with stacks, if I drill a drain hole in the the lowest part of the pipeing and weld a small tube to it will this sound and or act like a typical exaust leak. thanks in advance , I'm just tired of blowing all that watery black crapp all over my truck after a rain shower.

the muffler thought has crossed my mind for long trips like last week going to smokin in the smokies, that drone will drive you nuts after a while. I have a set of planters peanut cans painted black for avoiding water at home , can you say REDNECK

and im going to Brians shop in a while for the trans so 1350 miles one way would make my tooth fillings fall out and make me loose my hearing from the drone, and my other half would never ride with me again, im sure,

I tried a set of those for mitre cut the hinge and springs all fit inside. they were forever getting stuck open, long story short they were not worth a damn, they didn't even "clank"

All you need to do is drill a small, 1/8" or 3/16" hole at the lowest point. I routed my exhaust so that the inlet of the elbow was at the lowest spot, and then the water doesnt get past the flex pipe. JTharvey did it clever by routing the clamp on the flex pipe/ downward and the water just comes out and doesnt leak exhaust AFAIK.

Pete is the drone really bad? Im about a week away from ordering the 7's and i mean right now im running with a dumped exhaust, 5" straight to the flex and then it dumped down as much as the flex will because im waiting for the new ones(probably should have waited until I bought the new ones oh well). Im going to have to try what jt did with the clamp, because i already know what its like to have the oil on the side of the truck(turbo gone wild).

Like Kris said, the bolts for my clamp at the elbow & flex pipe are facing down. It's just a small enough gap to let the water drain out, but I do not have any exhaust leaks.
