motor mount replacement

my 89 has a broken motor mount on a 460 2wd c6...it looks impossible to change...what do i have to remove, loosen to get to the bolts and change?

My 79 400 was straight forward, watch the fuel lines and wires as you jack the motor up. Once you get a few inches clearance between motor mount and the purches, put some wood blocks to support the motor while you swap out the mounts on the block.

so if i loosen the trans and two motor mounts she will jack up easily

Once those are loose, you only have a couple of wires, hoses and gravity on to it.

should i disconnect any wires and/or hoses, maybe even driveshaft?

Figure half a day and there should only be two. Yes replace both while you have it apart.

Only disconnect what you have to. Wiggle and pull lines as you go and if anything feels tight, loosen them.
