Any one good with cd player? I installed a cd player in my truck today and I made all the right connections and i when I plugged it in it just keeps flashing on and off and will not make any sound.
You might try the stereo forum for some better help than I can offer. We have so many forums now, sometimes I wonder why the '67-'72 forum still exists...

I think it's because the 67-72 crowd is a lot like the FE crowd. We just won't go away.If you watch who posts in which forums you can't help but notice a lot of members post in both.
FTE is always evolving and changing...and one of the newer changes is not to move threads quite as much. Many folks get to feeling comfortable in certain forums they frequent and want to stay within that forum to get the answers to most of their questions. We feel that they should be able to do so, to a certain extent.
However, I agree that this particular question would be much more suited to the A/V forum so with this in mind, I have moved it there and notified the user.

Looks like somebody made a wrong connection ...What brand/model CD Player...what vehicle? What head unit? Did you go back to instructions and run thru them again? Word for word.
where is it plugged into? it sounds to me like you have dirty power and or not enough power. i would totally recommend bypassing the fuse box and going straight to the batter with an inline fuse right off the battery
