Rear most muffler 01 EB Expy

Hey all. My question pertains to the rear most muffler on the 01 Expy (probably Navi's as well) near the tip of the exhaust. I want to know if anyone has cut that muffler out of the equation all together and if you noticed any noise increases, loss/ gain in mileage, loss/ gain in power, and what not. Please post with an answer since I'm considering cutting it off and letting the exhaust dump just past the rear axle.

Cut my off, and added an extention that runs out the right rear. a little louder, but It sounds better.

Well, FYI for everyone that cares, I went and cut if off anyway. I noticed a slight drop in mileage but nothing too significant. Its also a hair louder that stock. I have also noticed a slight increase in accleration though. Thanks for all the replies. I hope this post helps anyone else that is considering this low buck mod.
