loudest muffler?

well i know they are going to be lower...but in the description they make it sound like they can make it to meet your dB requirement....
although if i did buy a 10 series i would just get a loud one anyways...i am not to concerned about noise in my area...most guys around here run straight pipes.

If most people get away with staight pipes you should be fine. I know here in MA you have to have a baffled muffler to pass inspection with "no excessive noise". I know guys with Dynomax Bullets and straigh pipes that don't have a problem. I huess it all depend on where you go and who you know.

You can do both. Some people put them infront of mufflers to quiet the truck down, but most people use them as mufflers. I had one on a '87 Ram and it sounded good. They are the best bang for your buck. Here's the link to them:

Basically a stright pipe inside a larger crimped pipe. Imagine a glass pack with no glass.

I remember them from my youth. Old Vettes, especially. I've always thought the sound very cool.
