loudest muffler?
 

what would be the loudest muffler I can put on my f 250?i have a flow master i forget what one is it but its suppose to be the loudest one and its not loud at all.is there any muffler that would make it loud?or no?

You could go with glasspacks, or even no muffler. What Flowmaster do you currently have?

i have a glass and it isn't that loud. i'd assume something like the 10 series would be loud... maybe just straight pipe it?

I bet the 10 series or Outlaw series by Flowmaster would sound great. I've only heard one 10 series. It was on a 1979 Chevy truck and it hurt my ears. I loved it!

is your truck a gasser or a diesel? if its a diesel and you dont need any emissions test then go all straight pipe!

is the 10 series the single chamber mufflers that are not rectangular? they kinda have an offset to them. i was considering them because i wanted flowmasters but for them to be as loud as some glaspacks or strait pipes.

you will pass emissions with no muffler right it doesnt effect your emissions out put, but its simply illegal in most places to have no mufflers correct? i mean that doesnt stop a lot of people, but im just curious...and id go with glass packs if i had a little extra money

Flowmaster has a 1 chamber race muffler. Closed thing to a straight pipe that I have seen.

If I had a V8 I would have the 10 series in a second.

A really really short glasspack or Magum race series. End of story... Flowmasters can never sound as good or flow as well as a straight through muffler, they are like having a hollowed out cat only the cat would be less restrictive.

is the 10 series street legal though?

I'm pretty sure it is legal in most states because it is a "muffler" but they might get you for it being over a certain noise limit.

it says that they can meet your dB requirements...i wonder if i found out my Provincial dB requirements and sent it to them..if they could make the loudest...yet legal...muffler.
