Intake "Y" for intercooler setup
would anyone happen to know the part # for the early 99 intake "Y" ?
the one that I would need to put a intercooler into my non intercooled
97 psd.
I got one from the wreckers today but its hard to tell if it will match up without taking the old one off.

the only # I see on it isnt a typical ford part # it is 1827060C1 but the two ports going to the heads are 2 3/8".
homever the port that goes to the turbo looks like it is about 3/4" or 1" to big maybe its just hard to tell with everything still atached
its just that I would like to figure it out before I start to tare it apart.

you have the correct one. only the early 99 have the small ports going tot he head. the difference in percieved size of the turbo connection comes from the orginal pipe being steel and the new one being cast aluminum which is much thicker walled. Hopefully you got the rubber boots going to the heads and the marmon clamp that attaches the y-pipe to the turbo cause they are different than what is on your truck now.
