yeah his turn around is like 2 months (last time I checked)... I like his more anyways because of the pressed center, vs dan's flat center. I think I'm about to order from him too.

What dimensions on those rims?

whats bad about john? I would love to make my own rims... but I dont know if I could make a single double beadlock that wouldn't leak. Not to mention where would I get the centers from.
I already looked into MRW a while back, their 20" rims won't take any of the michelin tire beads, they are too thick (mine are a little over 1.5"). I don't think that Daniel makes the pressed center for teh 20" rim, thats what I was refferring to... but yeah I guess you're right... they do both make them.

lol he's just bitter. no i really like John and so far I dont have any reason not to believe him. the only thing i dont like about these custom orders is john keeps telling me "next week" but i never see it. i think that at the beginnin if he had told me "2 months" i would care a lot less. in fact when i first placed my order he point blank said *paraphrasing here* "I dont have any orders in right now so I can probably have your wheels to you within a month." PFFFT. i half believed him from the start but i was willing to go with it.

i dont care how long it takes or what happens, i really dont. i just dont want to be told that my $1500 wheels will ship out "next week" every week for 2 months.

anywho... he supposedly has them all tacked up and will be powder coating them monday and ship them tuesday. i WISH before that so i could make the GrayRock ride next weekend, but i have already come to terms with that

I'm wondering... maybe I could buy some pressed centers from John and then get some M35 rims and cut the centers out of those then weld in the Staz parts... Or maybe just check a trucking place and get some recycled shells...
