400 4bbl stock ?
hi i have a 79 f-150 with 400 my ? is the vin # F14SRDE3050 and that decodes to a 400 with a 4bbl i didnt think that the 400 came with a 4bbl stock any help with this just kind of whant to know thanks.

The 4th digit of the VIN is the engine code.
S = 400 2V
No 400 engine ever came from Ford with a 4 barrel carb.
