Automatic Locks

I have a question concerning the locks in my truck. It is a 2000 F250 shortbed supercab and of course V10. My problem is that each time I try to unlock or lock the truck through the key ring or inside it seems that the locks just don't want to go down/up. In order to get it the truck I have to put the key in the slot and still the lock does not come all the way up. It allows me to enter my truck but if I were to start the truck and close the door the truck would be locked. I am not having any issues with my battery so I would not think that would be the problem. I am thinking a possible rely or something along those lines. Anyone come across this problem?

Do a search for Door Actuators and you will find a ton of info. This is a common problem and there are a couple solutions - includnig the one that you mentioned.
