2005 conv. complete

I got it all done. Wow, it looks much cleaner...
Before

Just the 05 Grille stock lights

Front end all apart

Front end complete

I got the lights off ebay, the grille from fords, and the harness from dfuser. I must say that dfuser harness it very nice and easy to hook those lights up.

John-it looks great!, but you gotta do the mirrors too.

I was playing with my truck today as well.
Lights from fleabay $250, harness from puredieselpower $79 and I already had silverstar 9008/h13 bulbs. Now it just needs to get dark so I can try them out.

So I was out and about tonight. I had to raise the right hand side just a little. All I can say is WOW!! THe lights are awesome!! Way better than the ones I had before.

I guess the silverstars really help a lot as well. I left the "britebox" mod (diode) installed, and dang the brights are super bright!! If anyone needs better lighting, I just have to recommend that you get these. Plus, it really give the truck a great look.

I too was very impressed with the light output of the '05 lights. I couldn't believe the difference between them and my old stock ones.

Selling them, i want bigger stacks so i gotta sell the old ones first.

Im going to get the mirrors eventually, but i first want to make so they can be at least power, since my truck doesnt have power mirrors, but it has power windows and locks.

I just have some OEM replacement bulbs in the 05 lights, and they are brighter than the silverstars in my 99 lights. I went out and my lights were a bit unadjusted, good thing before i left i grapped the socket to adjust them because one was way in the air the other was way down low.

Haha, no powerwashing the cement. Our roads have been pure mud lately, and after washing three trucks there, your couldnt see the cement anymore.

Im suprised no one has noticed that the all apart shot where you can see under the hood, that air filter is in a different spot.
