88 f150 5.0 302 When I pull codes KOEO I get a code 10(?) followed by 11(system passed) I cannot find any reference to a code 10. Anyone know?
Engine running I get "8cyl" (indicating I am testing an 8 cyl) "46" (Thermactor air not bypassed during test) "13" (RPM unable to reach lower test limit) "77" Operator error "52" Power steering pressure switch circuit open
How do I address these codes? How is the thermactor bypassed? Is it the solenoid next to the coil pack? And is it supposed to be bypassed before testing? Is the "13" related to the thermactor not bypassing? Operator error? Should I take this personally? Wheres my error? Thanks
Is this the one you bought on ebay for $3? If so, I think I found your problem - your code reader is a POS. There are no zeroes in Ford ODB-I codes. Have you tried the paperclip method?
correction : Before the computer sends the second group of codes to the code reader, it first sends a "separator code" (code 10) to separate the first group of codes from the second group.
