Powerstroke In a BRONCO?
I remember a few months ago,there was another post about someone with a 7.3L diesel/Bronco project.It isn't impossible,but you are talking big bucks,considering the Powerstroke diesel engine alone would cost at least $4,000,not to mention all the other costs of all the other upgrades.I'm sure somebody has done this swap already.Maybe they can offer you some better advice.The Bronco's fuel mileage would be better,and with all that torque,it could pull just about anything.I'm planning on an engine&trans swap in my '90 Bronco.Iwant to put a EFI460&E4OD in it.I know the fuel mileage will go down,but I don't mind......:7

Sounds like a great Idea. You would probably need a donor truck to get all the parts you would need. I always thought if I ever took on a project like this I would get an F-350 Frame and shorten it to match a Bronco's wheelbase and bolt on Bronco body. It seems to me this would be easier and you would get all the benefits of the 1 ton truck like heavy duty brakes,dana 60 axle,front spring rates would be correct for the engine weight and more
