What is the difference between a Bronco XLT and an Eddie Bauer Bronco?

Yup. I have a ranger XLT 78 and the only real difference between this and the Customs are trim, everything is pretty much optional. I am not sure on the EB trim level but all i could think of is trim and interior decor. Maybe some stereo stuff but not likely.

Trim level is correct, also the paint job, the XLT have a split 2 tone color, while the Eddie bauer only has 2 tone stripes and along the bottom, so basically looks is all, maybe some different interior items as well

Yes, all the EB have tan bottom and top. My 94 has overhead console with temperature and compass. Leather seats, carpet on the tailgate.

My '93 EB has cloth seats with the EB name stitched in, no tailgate carpet, and normal EB paint. I actually like the XLT paint looks better.

I was so confused reading this, took me forever to figure out EB = Eddie Bauer, not Early Bronco

My EB doesn't have the carpet on the tailgate or the overhead console, however, mine is a 93. So maybe the console came in 94. Mine originally had the tan leather seats (I think all EB's have tan interiors, have not seen any other interior colors for them) however, mine were in bad shape so I replaced them with cloth ones.
