Anyway Green, you either have a bad pressure switch, a bad relay or somehow bypassing the switch / relay and going directly to the compressor.
About 6 months after my install, my compressor would not start up, went direct 12 vdc, etc. every troubleshooting method out there. Replaced the compressor, pressure switch, etc. Ended up being a bad relay. relay seemed to meter good, still dumbfounded.
If i unplug one side of the pressure switch,the compressor shuts off.Plug the switch back in,it turns on.
So the relay is working.
Green Dually- I can guarantee you the pressure switch is bad. I have been silent about my problems with Seige Engineering, but all I will say is that I have had NUMEROUS 200 PSI switches that were/are bad. They will keep pumping in excess of 200 psi untill the pressure relief valve opens. Siege Engineering is having some quality control issues to say the least...

Thanks thats good to know.I have to call them today,i guess ill have to buy the viair switch,i just hate to spend more money on something that they should get right.
