Any one mounted onboard air?

I am looking to mount a viair tank and compressor on my truck, I was thinking underneath on the frame. Anybody else done this? Have any pics?

I put quick connects at every wheel along with a gauge to monitor air pressure.

Yup. Viair 150psi assembly. Made a cradle mount out of 3/16" aluminum that is bolted to the bed crossmembers. The unit is in between the frame and body. Sits up high enough to not be seen and doesn't get wet. I made a manifold with 1/4"npt electric solenoids that are controlled by a momentary rocker switch on the dash. The switch allows me to fill or dump air out of my rear airbags. I also have a triple air horn mounted up front behind the bumper. I ran a work line into the stake pocket with a quick coupling for an air hose that I carry in the tool box.
Everything was found on Amazon.com.

Anyone have any problems with water or road salt? It's nasty around here.

Well Mhatlen doesn't, his truck stays California Clean most of the time lol. I'm always amazed every time he posts pictures of how clean the underside of that truck is.

They use salt/de-icer/spray crap around me and I do a lot of winter driving hauling snowmobiles around....there's a little bit of rust that's developed on the casing of the compressor in the last year. I picked up a plastic battery box that I'm going to use to shield the compressor, we'll see how it goes.

Funny thing about my onboard air install is I'm a pipe fitter so it's all in 1/2" brass piping throughout entire truck to each wheel. Tight as a tick too doesn't loose a pound of air.
The flex is to pressure gauge on frame.
Yea no salt in California. Truck only has 55K on it so it's clean still.

Clearly you're a pipe fitter. I used piping for my manifold only. It was getting expensive.
I'm cheap & lazy, so for the rest I used all DOT approved airbrake black plastic tubing. Easy to run and hide in the frame rail. Not a leak either.

LOL yea it became a challenge to me honestly. I got all the material for free, i would not paid the high cost of brass if I didn't have lots left over from work. Had to do some fancy bends on the pieces to front wheels where the frame sweeps up. But I got everything where it needed to be.

That's pretty extensive. Price was right, which I figured and is consistent with people I know in the field but didn't want to insinuate.
Is that a utility body? Looks like the bottom of one.

No it's a CCSB. There is a plate that I welded on the bottom in that one picture. I removed the hump in center of floor under back seat so it's flat all the way across. Putting speaker box under seat so it had to go. I'm guessing that what you are seeing.
It's insulated now under cab with 1" foam rubber aluminum faced.
