Compatibility - '93 Aero versus '94 Explorer
Both are 4.0L with 2WD. Can I take the engine/tranny/etc. from the '93 Aero and use in a '94 Explorer?? My Aero had a bad crash late last fall. The Aero engine is a nice Jasper rebuilt long block with less than 50K. I don't intend to junk this Aero until I've stripped it of usable parts for my other '93 Aero and possibly this '94 Explorer (if the engine and tranny fit).
