Vss?

The VSS is it only electronic with no cable on the pumpkin top front over the driveshaft? Mine fell apart coming out.

Went to autozone and they said that the speed sensor is on the back of the transmission and the pic they have isnt even close to the sensor in the rear diff.
HELPPP!!!

Yes, the VSS is where you said it was - on the pumpkin. Under $30.

You should be able to work the metal round plug out of the hole. I replaced mine without any trouble with the help of my friend WD. The speed sensor at the dealer is a mere 26.00 and change.
