First of all.......Dale started in a Thunderbird......FORD........Anyone recall the 70's.....How bout that Torino.......did any race car driver drive Chevy then.......no.....chevy was a little to busy making their Vega's...They didnt spend money on "speed" research. All i can say is BOSS 429......Anyway this is a truck site.....what's a car that consists of only one part made by the manufacturer and that's the engine have anything to do with a truck site.......besides they add a lot of other parts to even the engine......names like edelbrock......holly.......chevy dont make hardly anything on them cars........ne way....i own a strait six 93' ford 4x4 with dual tanks.......135,000 miles on it......still runs like new.....fuel pump and clutch are the only things that went.....oh wait.....Jeff Gordon even started out in a thunderbird (Bush series)

AC meaning Atlantic City?. The owner of my company lives in Stone Harbor. He drives to Moorestown and back every day. I think it's 70 miles. He's a GM nut too.

as for the volunteer firefighters, i think it's a fire bug thing and putting lights on their vehicles. i think half of them start the fires so they can ride with their lights and sirens on.
If you don't have the guts to riskl your life for someone elses, then you don't have teh right to say ANYTHING about what I do!
Therefore you are the atypical loser! You're just as bad as that lowlife clacker! You're both stupid, and I hope that you realize it someday!
I also feel sorry for the people who risk their lives on a daily basis protecting lowlife scum like you! The firefighters, ems & police! Those are the one's I truly feel sorry for. Because they are sworn by law to protect individuals who would rather take shots at them, than to thank them for what they do!
It will all come out in the end! At least I'm doing sdomething for the good of the community, unlike the lowlifes who don't have teh couragfe it takes to do the job! You truly are the losers in the world. You don't know what it means to have someone thank you for getting them out of a rolled over car, or getting there in the middle of the night to put out a house fire. Fire bugs? No, I think not. It's the losers like you, who need attention that are the one's who start fires!
Go try to be intelligent somewhere else! It's not working here!

We had a brush fire in our area some years back. We almost lost our business to it. The fire dept. was there hosing down our buildings and adjacent properties to keep to fire back. The only loss we suffered were several burnt sections of fence.
I am not a volunteer fireman nor am I affiliated with any fire dept. I just know what I have seen in the past and how these people handle the situation.
Hotrod, keep up the good work.

Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
There are those that understand what goes on, and there are those that are blinded by their own ignorance, and self righteousness. You're the kind of person that understands what happens when the call goes out. But there are others that would rather sit around and critique everything, and complain about volunteer firefighters. But they would be the first one's screaming when their house is on fire!
People never seem to realize what the saying on the banner at the fundraisers we do means.
"What if you dialed 911, and nobody came?"
Take that question to heart folks. Think about it, and for those of you that still think that volunteer firefighters are still just in it for the lights, then you need ride on a call someday. Trust me, I'm sure you could ask one of the over 1 million Volunteer Firefighters in departments across the country and they'd tell you why they are in their department. My area is 7 miles one direction from the nearest town, and 6 miles from the other. All of the departments in our area, are volunteer. If there weren't any volunteer firefighters in my county, there would be a lot of people screaming for fire protection.
So to close this thought, think about this before you go to sleep at night. How many people set their pagers tonight, just in case the call drops to respond to someone's house, or a major accident? Wouldn't you want them to respond if you had an emergency? Of course you would, if not then you have some serious problems.

Like I said, back on topic....
Read this.

Sounds like Ford trucks are a tad on the slow side (except for the Lightning)

I believe that would be you. Unless of course you have already forgotten you're remarks in post #30! Go back and read, you may enlighten yourself.

GM is better than Ford

Can't you guys just get along?
It is sad to see that something meant for fun and harmless rivalry has devolved into name calling and slurring of people's vocations, passtimes and lineage.
Just my $.02.
And for you Clatter:
Since you neither have the courage, to be a Volunteer anything you have nothing of any credibility to bring to the table. And as far as the continual babbling about Ford vs. Chevy, that's you're doing. Everytime someone says they like their Ford, you come in and say what a piece of junk it is. You need to grow up, you need a life, and you need to dry up and blow away you withered old prune.
There I think I've spoken my mind. Of course I have had some extra things that I wanted to say to you, but You're not worth it! Neither is your little sidekick.
So both of you gutless wonders can just go off and be together. Because neither of you have the courage to face the dangers of firefighting as a volunteer (which means not getting paid for risking your life for someone elses) to which I pity whoever has to risk their lives to save your miserable lives. Because you are two miserable people, and I'm sure anyone who has been associated with you, realized that within 10 seconds of talking to you.
