not sure I know what you are talking about - just the transmition ?
or the transfer case ?
if it is just the transmition - the electronic 4eod is ... well manual in that you can shift manually from 1st to 2nd etc... and the od is an electronic push button - so again you control ?
if you are talking about a shift kit - on my old vehicles gm turbo 400 a shift kit consisted of droping the pan and moving the shif ***** around to control the flow of fluid - the result was harder quicker shifts - a good thing for a drag car - I am not sure I would spend the time doing this on my bronco - unless I run out of other items to add.
I tried the B&M shift plus improver, the electic switch that changes the pressure of the transmission. I have removed it because it didn't help the transmission out at all.
I have heard that the TransGo shift kits are very good. If I was going to do one, I would definitely go with the TransGo.
Stay away from the electrical mods. Go with a true shift kit.
