Been looking at 7.3l for some reason and wondering what the mpg they get?
I want to post the numbers that I and most 7.3 owners get. 14 - 15 city, 16 - 18 long run highway, 9 - 11 towing. Not nearly as good as others post but still better than any gas burner I've ever owned.

Wow i calculated my gas mileage and with my truck i get normally 13-15city and 14-17..maybe 17.4 if I'm lucky. So about how much does a super cab 7.3l weigh or any 7.3l?
City mileage is usually 14-16.5. On the lower end when I'm heavy on the pedal. The worst I saw was 12.1 one time, that was driving almost the entire tank in the 120 setting. I think I was soley responsible for the city smog that day.
Highway is 16-oh so close to 19. I have yet to crack that 19 mpg mark. Best I've seen is 18.9 on a road trip.
Towing has seen 12-14 mpg. That's with utility trailers, dump trailers, and hauling around the ATV's. Heaviest my truck has towed was 11K lbs.
All mileage hand calculated, and filled with fuel all the way to the filler neck.
Also my truck weighs in at 8000 lbs and sits 7'10" at the cab.
Wow thats crazy, i cant see why my F150 weighs only uhh 5980ish lbs last time(4.6l by the way) i checked, with me in it, and i don't get any better mileage then what I'm getting I'd think that a truck that weighs in most cases 2000lbs more then my truck would get a lot worse gas mileage that what it gets but when in actuality the mileage is very comparable. Interesting, hey thanks for all the responses guys, apreciate it!
