? about windshield washer reservior

I pulled a reservior out of a 1980 F-150 thinking I could adapt it to fit in my 1977. Since I couldn't find a neat way of doing it, I opted to buy one that would fit on e-bay. Now I'd like to list the other one for sale. For how many years would the 1980 one fit? My guess would be to at least 1986. Is that correct? Part number is D8BF-17618-A1.

i think it would be hard to say. for i have seen a few different type thru out the 80s models

i would just post a picture and tell them what year an model you got it off and let them fig it out

Just trying to give as much accurate info as possible. I figure if I can make it easy on the buyer then it'll make the sale go much quicker and easier.
