thanks silver, i looked at your truck and it look sweet. how hard of a job was the lift and will it fit in a 7 foot garage door? thanks for the advice.
I had my shop built with an 8 ft door just so I could get it inside. The kit was fairly simple. I had all the right tools already because I have done several lifts on other trucks in the past.
The tires will rub on the leaf springs at full lock either left or right. Mine was to the right. Didn't scrub anywhere else. A simple turn stop mod took care of that though.
The tires will rub in different areas on the truck depending upon what rims you get. The offset of the rim help depends upon where your tire ends up sitting.
Mine doesn't rub on the leaf springs at all. But I had to have my bumper cut because the outside edge of my tire would catch it. Also, I get a rub at full LEFT lock on the inner liner. I will also get a rub at full RIGHT if I hit a bump as well.
