Anybody run Cherry Bombs????

I run cherry bomb glass packs on my Hi-boy with a 360, headers and dual 2.25" pipe turned down at the rear quarter panel. Great sound at idle, cruiseing, and under heavy acceleration it really start s sounding off. Not offensively loud but just enough to make the little kid inside you give out that evil giggle. I also had a cherry bomb vortex single in dual out on a '98 F-150 with 4.6 and was very impressed. mellower than the flowmaster but still good and throaty.

So how do the 27 and 1/4 inch one sound? I fudged up and ordered the worng size. I want it to LOUD! I dont do much highway driving, So the drone doesnt bother me. If they sound bad Im just gonna sell 'em and buy the smallest cherry's i can.

I have cherry bombs on my 77 F100 flareside. I think they make it sound really tuff. They kinda give it that 70s muscle car sound. I have stock size exhaust pipes on mine. They exit behind the rear tires, one on each side. I have turbo mufflers on my 73 F100. They sound good too, but I prefer the cherrys.

I'm not sure of the exact size of the mufflers. I had the work done at Midas a few years ago. I looked at the paperwork that they gave me from the exhaust work, but the muffler size isn't listed.

personally i dont like glasspacks i am a flowmaster guy.
adding headers will give power and alot of sound. supposedly the original eleanor had glasspacks on it if you ever seen gone in 60 seconds HB Halicki's version not the one with nic cage.
same as the stang in bullitt, but every motor sounds differant atleast with flowmaster and the like you know you get a mean aggressive sound.
