looking for the best (nice looking/good functioning) add on seat belt set up for 60 f100. Still has factory seat at this time. Would like to install total of three.
The original lap belts from 1956 thru the mid 1960's have been reproduced, but they are the old style metal to web design and retractors were optional. Then there is the mid 60's and later metal to metal lap belts which also have been reproed. Not sure if any of our sponsors here at FTE carries them, but you can go to dearbornclassics.com page 66 of their catalog to see them. Dearborn now has the retractors too.

Be sure you get them long enough. I put a set in my 52, and if you go over 225 lbs there is no way you are going to get them buckled. They hold you in nice and tight though!
I got mine from LMC Truck. $17 per belt. They have kits with all the hardware for $25. Make sure you use good bolts and large backup washers or a backing plate; you don't what them pulling through the sheetmetal if you ever get in a crash.
I just put three in my '59 F250,two retractable and the center is fixed. They all match. The fixed center belts' "buckle" had to be lengthened( by the manufacturer) to match the length of the buckles of the retractable ones. They have many colors, are not fancy. All three cost me about 160.00 shipped. They are the guys who sell on Ebay, you can buy direct from their store.Steve
julianos.com has a nice set of three point seat belts with all the hardware for the instalation some welding required but an excelent set up. Would not trust just the lap belt type with todays traffic and the hard dash in my 48`
I got mine from Melvin's Vintage Ford for $19 per set with all of the hardware included. They are non retractable and have airline type buckles, lap only. They probably won't do anything in a crash, but they sure make my wife happier about riding in my truck.

Don't discourage yourself...lap belts are better than no belts. Sure you might rattle your noggin around in the cab, but you'll stay in the cab and not get thrown out of the vehicle in a violent crash. Most of the accident reports I see where the occupants are ejected, well, they don't fare too well at all.
Seat belts can be critically important in a collision. By all means put them in. It is a lot more work but shoulder belts are definitely worth the work. I have a good friend that was driving home from the Turkey Rod Run last thanksgiving time when he experienced a sidewall blowout on a rear tire at 70mph north of Daytona on the interstate. The rod went instantly sideways and started to roll. He passed out after the third roll. There may have been more. He was wearing a 3 point belt that he installed years ago after buying the car. He had injuries but is mostly mended and here to talk about it. It received its second and final chop job when they had to cut him out of the car.
I welded a mount into Willard for the third point.
Don't know how it'd mate up to your year, but Mid-Fifty has a mount that welds from the door frame to the rear window frame and looks great. Gives you the shoulder point mount. Getting a center shoulder harness is tough, I just went with a lap belt there. The Mid-Fifty catalog shows it. I didn't find it until after I'd fabricated exactly the same thing. Again, don't know if it'd fit a '60, but the picture would at least show you how it's done.

That is what I did on my 49. I made my own mounts, like thos sold by Mid 50, and welded them in.
