I'm replacimg my blinker switch on my 88 bronco. it has automatic transmission i've got the tilt wheel assembly almost off, and have taken the back bolts (hex head) off along with the metal chunks that hold the thing together. When i go to pull the steering wheel tilt assembly off, it stops after about 1/4 inch. Can someone shed some light on this? what did it forget to disassemble?
