Alaska campers

Anyone else getting spring fever? I'm already thinking about loading up the truck camper and hitting the road.

Spring Time> Anytime when the snow melts.

Back to the question. Yep have the fever. Looking at doing a Tango Lakes or Summit/Delta trip with the camper and kids maybe in May.

Driving to Cal this summer so no long trips for us, just a few local 2-3 day trips.

I havent done anything yet. I was hoping to see others having the same issue with a fix of replacing the plug. I dont want to spend the money on a new plug if its something else so I'll wait a little longer.

Jayco 345RKS - Mid 90's Older model but the price was right.

I know what you mean. When I bought my 03 I had touble with trailer light on a friend of mines car hualin trailer, I couldnt figure it out I was to the point of rewiring the whole trailer. Then I hooked up to one of my trailers and had the same problem only half the lights would work, but everything was working on the truck. I finally broke out the owners manual to ckeck fuses #6 was trailer lights- fixed my whole problem.

I'll keep looking into this. I might consider rewiring the trailer lights and brakes this summer since it's an older trailer. As for the equipment hauler I will drive it down as it but might try a new plug a NAPA to see if I can find one with a tighter set up.

Talking Cruising

I can see my boats in the snow. Yep, When I heal in about 4 weeks I think I'll load the Boy's and go exploring the Islands on a 3 day trip. Tow the 14 foot Lund behind the 24 footer to do some beach combing. Stay on the boat if it's raining or pitch a tent on the beach if it ain't. Got hundreds of little Islands to explore. Ya just gotta luv Southeast in the summer.
PS: The big boat is Ford powered (351W) so It's cool to talk about her I hope.

Oh to digress. I still hope to get at least one more snowmachine trip in before putting them away for the winter.

Nice today, in the lower 50's. The only bad thing about spring -- BREAK UP--. Cant wait till thats all gone.

The weather is clear and calm here. Like Indian summer. I want to take the boy's out on one of the Islands and camp for a couple of days while we got the weather. But Momma won't let me. She said that I need to heal for a few more weeks yet. Prolly be snowing by then.
