Coming soon.....I'm outside working on a shed and I've already donated blood to the 'Skeeters. I think all those RV's that are rumbling thru Palmer headed for the Kenai brought them with them.

Ya sure got the seasons down right *******. I still think they should change the State bird from the ptarmigan to the Skeeter as they are about same size. Got the spring bear hunters pluging us up here. What a supprize when they got here and couldnt get off the Hiway cuz of the 4 feet of snow on all the spurs yet. Thats ok cuz they pretty much got all the Blackies killed off this rock anyway.

I think I have a bad fuel filter. Starts up fine, runs for 5 seconds then dies. Let it set for 5-10 seconds, starts fine and runs for 5 seconds then dies. Will do this all day long.
Its a 5000 watt Generec from Home Depot. Ok size for the camper. I just have not had the time to look at/for the fuel filter. I need to actually take it to work so I can spend my lunch time looking at it.

What engine and HP dose it have Mike? I know I won't spell this right but Tuchumsa comes to mind as that is the standered for Generac Gen Sets. If ya ever get the chance to pick up an Onan ya will be money ahead even if it needs overhauled.

I dont know. I'll have to look. Ive had it for 7 years. Only changed the oil once, shame on me. I am heading to Cal this summer and my father-in-law is giving me 2 genset so I'll have to wait and see what I get. The Generec 5K is basically for the camper. It started acting up while we were in Whitehorse. Would be nice to get it fix, looks pretty much brand new.
