DP tuner/emissions ?

Let me start out by saying this DP Tuner chip i just installed in my 2000 f250 is out of this world. I love it. I had a couple of questions to ask. I am due for emissions and dont know what program i shold put it in. Stock or 80 economy?? Also is there any other recommendations i should do to the truck to keep it balanced as in fuel and not killing my engine now that i have this new awsome chip??

I have a 2000 6" lifted psd, 35" banks power pack system(includes intake,4" exhaust, banks turbine w/ housing, big head waste gate, banks intercooler), with DP Tuner chip, 120 race, 140 aggressive, 80 econo., hi idle, and stock.

Well I believe Jody removes the rev limiter in his tunes so if they do the rev test (hold at WOT) you could over rev. Stock would be the safest setting but I think Pocket did his test in one of the tow tunes just to see.

Yeah I was tested last April when I still had the stock exhaust and stock turbo. Ran in the 40hp tow setting and passed with an 8% opacity. Failure here is 35%, so I was well under. No idea what it would do in the 80 econo, but I know that setting smokes a bit more in higher altitude. Something to think about if you do live at an elevation.

If I were you, I'd just run it in the stock setting.

Also, no rev limiter test here in CO

FWIW-Jody does not remove the rev limiter, but only raises the rev limtier slightly according to what you want and the set up they have.( ie.pullers and racers).

This is paticularly why Jody likes to put a stock tune on the chip. You have it. Use the stock tune for emmisions testing. Unless you have bigger injectors then he can write you an emmisions friendly tune.

I got it for emissions, and because its my cool down and warm up tune, before I switch to a higher performance one....plus, it was half the price.
