Will Edge void warranty?

So in a nutshell....UNLESS THE DAMAGE IS CAUSED BY THE MOD, THE WARRANTY WILL COVER IT....

and no matter HOW MANY MODS YOU DO, the warranty will NOT be void!

Ok, si if you chip the engine, increase horsepower and torque then the trans takes a crap. All that has to be said is increased stress due to increased torque and horsepower warranty voided!!! Say what you want I work at a Ford dealership and it can and will be done!!

Well of course they would! Our trucks are designed to output a certain amount of power from the factory. Any time you go over that, you are exceeding design specs, and things can and will fail. That's the risk you take when you start putting performance addons.

BUT it will not void the warranty. If the tranny dies, and the owner has some significant performance mods, it's very likely the mods caused it.

So can the Edge be installed without uploading anything into the ECM on the truck? Just as a guage unit only?

I would be intrested to know this also I just purchased one of these the other day but do not want to void my warranty in the process. I just want to use it for the guages only. Thanks in advance!
