I need to replace the trac bar bracket on my 78 f150 4x4 because the bolt hole in the bracket is elongated, do any of you know of someone who carries them, this is a stock truck with no lift, i ordered my bushings from the graveyard but i did not see a trac bar bracket listed from them, also the lower bolt in the trac bar is being stubborn because I can't get a socket to fit in the small space between the bolt head and the axle housing will try to recruit some help tomorrow and try again
thanks
I've found that you have to take the frame bolts (they aren't riveted on mine) off before you take the cross bolt out. There just isn't enough clearance between the steering box an all.
he's not looking for the bracket for the frame... he's looking for the one that is the front part of the radius arm C-bushing bracket... the one that wraps around the the front diff housing... he's talking about the opposite end of the trac bar.
