crown vic vs lincoln

i picked up a 87 lincoln continental 4dr for the eng and trans, but now i'm thinking, is the lincoln frame the same as a crown vic and can I trans plant my 64 cab and short bed and get everything i want at once? disk brakes, power steering and with the air ride slam it to the floor? anyone try this before, or should i look another way?
