Crown Vic ISF

Hi all
I am trying to find more information of using a 2003 or newer aluminum IFS from a Crown Vic or Merc in my 54 F-100. I posted a question to 62 red pickup about a month ago and got a few replies. Is there anyone else that has installed one of these front clips.
Thanks in advance and I wise everyone a safe and happy Holiday.

You might send a PM to fatfenders56 on this forum. As I recall he has experience with the Crown Vic IFS.

Rich,

That front end is similiar to the 92-up FOMOCO front end. My front end is a 1987 Crown Vic. The difference between mine and a 92-03 is the upper control arms are a tubular style. While mine is a stamped style. If I am not mistaken 03 was the year that the Crown Vic/Marquis/Town Car went to a rack and pinion. Fatfenders56 is very knowledgeable on these front ends. If you have any more questions you can PM me as well. They ride so!!!!! good. Performance parts from the Marauder will likely interchange if you want to give up some fo that wonderful ride for performance type handling. Thanks Donald
