I have been living with my steering off by approx 10*.After I lifted the truck.
After searching here for a answer.I have found that I can fix that by turning the drag link. What is involed in doing this.Any helpful tips and procedures will be helpful.
yea my was like that after i put a lift on my truck also but it took mine in to get an alignment and some other stuff done to it right after that so they fixed it for me
The coupler right nest to your steering gear and pitman arm is just for this purpose. Loosen the 2 bolts (15mm I think) and turn the coupler with a pipe wrench. 10deg will probably be 1/2 to 3/4 turn.

Yup, just adjust that drag link until you have where you like it.
The "OFF" position doesn't lock the steering wheel either. I forget which way turning the collar on the draglink turns the steering wheel. But it's best if you do the adjustments of the collar with the front wheels off of the ground. Make your adjustments of the collar, set the truck back down and drive it backward and forward 10-15 feet in a straight line and check/adjust again. Also make sure that both ends of the draglink are well inside the collar with more than just a couple of threads holding it in.
Thanks guys for all the suggestions.Did the adjustment of the steering wheel. No problem at all.I did it with the front off the ground. Thanks for the tip envirocon.....
