Welcome to the forum

Usually with NOS, you need to run a colder plug. Get a set of Motorcrafts for a Lightning.

I use a 150 shot. Here are the musts. Platinum + nos = destruction.
NO PLATINUM. Go one step colder plugs, I use NGK. Must use fresh 93 octane min. If you normally run less of an octane rating, use up as much of it out of the tank as you can(arrive at station on fumes)and then fill with fresh 93 or higher. 93 is fine just don't pull up to a station out in bfe that the 87 button is worn off and the 93 has never been used. Forget about the octane boosters to take you from a tank of 87 to a 93 rating, it doesn't work that way. Also make sure you don't have a after market program on it like a hypertech or super chip that advances the timing.....=destruction. If anything at 120 you want 2-4 deg. lag. Stock will work at 120 but I rec. using a wet shot with a low fuel press sensor to shut off the nos if you loose fuel press.

Its all about pressure, don't shoot with less than a half a tank of nos. The pressure may be there at the start of the shot but will drop very fast and you will run fat and loose performance. Press......need heat.....use heater on bottle. Turn it on a good 30 min before use and it will turn on and off as the pessure fluctuates to maint. optimum bottle pressure. DO NOT USE A TORCH.

Lastly have fun,it rocks.

stock No. 4177 TR6(ngk), my hypertech fuel program is off but I still use the firm shift, higher 130mph speed limiter, and non-stock speedometer adjustments from it. I wouldn't mess with a "bought" ready mix porgramer for nos. Go stock or use a custom prgramer set up by a good shop from dyno runs. I use a cold fusion heater I got off ebay with a auto feature that uses bottle pressure to turn off and on. Unless you can read the bottle pressure in the driver seat then this feature is a must.

I must reiterate, DONE RIGHT, a 100 shot is safe all day long, 150 is really pushing it, and yah I'm pushing it. Don't get to trigger happy. Keep the pressure up for each hit. It takes time to rebuild the pressure between hits. Heating time.

In case you don't know this post was made back in 2007. The year now is 2021 if you get my drift?
Try pinging them if they do not answer in a day or two if they still even come to this board.
One of the old timers could tell you more about how to do that or get a message to one of them.
