Hey all, I have a quick question for you. How do you convert a Quicktime video to one that would play in Windows Media Player? I recently took a few videos from vacation on my digital camera that will only play in Quicktime.
What's a good, free converter that I can use to convert the videos?
It didn't work. It asked if I wanted to play the unknown extension, I clicked yes. After a few seconds it gave me this message, "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."
You can just try going to download.com, and look for a convertor. I have went there and used some of the freebie convertors from time to time, and have good luck with them.
Thanks guys! I found one called "jetAudio." It seems to be alright for being free off of download.com The only problem is, it converts the file to .avi but doesn't include any sound that was in the video.
