I have a 1985 F150 4x4 with a 351W and I have put an Edelbrock carb and intake on it and I was wondering if it would be beneficial or cost effective to put headers on it? Any and all opinions/answers welcomed!

headers are certainly beneficial. cost effective depends on your thinking. if you're looking for power and sound, then yes, they are. a good set of ceramic coated headers will not only improve looks, but sound and performance as well, and should last a lifetime. a cheaper set of headers will have some problems, and not last as long, though they should last quite a while regardless. in my personal opinion, i think they sound better, look better, and perform better, regardless of the engine. i have them on my truck.

L&L makes great headers. I love them! Lifetime rust through warranty, but they are expensive
