I sold a classic airstream motorhome to someone in England, always wondered how they drove that 30 footer aorund there. Also it got 8 mpg on a good day.Scary in the UK.
I have the 285s sitting in my garage waiting to be installed,I have the 4.30 rear, so this may help on the highway. But I still like the power off the line. Will these tires effect that any? I was told the superchips doesnt make much of a diff. on the v10.??? The only thing I was thinking was the exhaust next. I did a search but could not find the magnaflow for the v10, Only the Gibson. Does anyone out there have this ? and hows the sound?
I just noticed that you were asking for sound clips and I have some. In this clip I am all stock just magnaflow 16in. "I believe" and 2 12in. chrome pipes. I have a couple of pics in my gallery.
Dereck in UK the gasoline doesn't cost 8 bucks per gallon....
I live in Italy and actually we have the most expensive gas price in the WORLD.
We Pay 7.20$ per gallon
So a full tank of gasoline in mine V10 cost me actually 316$
in both case anyway are a bunch of money...but I still love my truck.
Here they use to go with LPG in the cars...so should be the half of price, the car run fine and is pollution friendly...I have no LPG in My truck but maybe I will put one.

Hi Excursionsicily
If your gas is only $7.20 a gallon then I have to dis-agree with your "most expensive gas" claim and back up that my claim of $8 per gallon is correct.
I own a gas station and here in my part of the UK gas is 1.00 to 1.08 English pounds per liter for 95 octane. (98 octane is more expensive).
There are 3.8 liters to the US gallon
There are $2.05 to 1 English pound (As at the time of this post)
So at £1.04 per liter (average) and $2.05 per English Pound
1.04 (pounds per liter) * 3.8 (liters per US gallon) * 2.05 (Dollars per English Pound) = $8.10 per gallon of gas.
