Check the flexible coupling between the steering column shaft and input shaft of the steering gear. Mine wandered badly with almost no noticible play in the wheel until I replaced the coupling. My alignment guy (in business for 35+ years) told me that if the F Series truck hasn't been wrecked or had mods done to the suspension he has never had to bend an axle to correct caster or camber, its always something else such as sagging springs, axle pivot bushings, etc.
