ok i messed up the trans and went and bought another trans and i put it in
my truck and it was a peace of s_ _ _ so i had a macanic fix the old one and i put it in today. when i took it for a road test it woundt shift out of 1st grear.
so i spent an hr playing with the shift cable and still the same im getting tired
of this anyone have some ideas before i sell the damn thing any help would be great
Shift timing is a balance between governor pressure and throttle pressure. You could have a stuck governor or badly adjusted or stuck throttle pressure linkage.
