351m coil problem
My engine started hesitating and running poorly, I traced the problem to the coil, went to advanced auto and picked up a Accel Super stock coil from lthe shelf installed it and everything seemed to be running OK. After about 45 minuted of riding around the engine started to run poorly backfiring and eventially left me stranded on the side of the road. My buddy brought a coil from home we installed on the side of the road and the engine started right up. Later that night I installed the Accel coil that I had purchased earlyer and sure enough the engine started up. Whats up? Is there a resister bad or something ? thank for your help!!

Could be a bad resistor wire from ignition switch to coil. It's 49" in length and is color coded red with green stripes.
