ts performance vs dp tuner

I noticed there was talk of the xle pcm's and how good jodys tunes are for that perticular pcm. I have a 2001 lariat i havent checked my code yet but does anyone know how well his tunes work on that year. That is if there is only one type of pcm for that year.

I think the auto's had either PMT1 or PMT2 PCM's in 01
His tuning on the PMT2 is excellent and when coupled with a BTS VB shifts are crisp and very quick. In 80econ the throttle is not touchy at all but there is mucho power available. The 140 tune is just insane, cant even start from a stop without boiling the tires.

Alan's on it again as usual. I have the TS and it really doesn't boil anything but the EGTs. That is probably because of the stock tranny because it will get up and move. Don't misinterpret what I am saying to mean the TS sucks, I believe that without a tranny mod that the stock tranny is just a POS. At any rate, I hate driving the truck in stock tune. So the TS is a big improvement, though probably not the best, as with anything. You get what you pay for.
