I ordered on for my truck. I probably have time to have it removed. (lots of time actually). I placed my order on 3/1. Was told by the dealer it might have a build date the first of May, Maybe get it the last week of June.
Short time listener, first time poster... I ordered my truck (F-250) on 2/15, just got word that the build date is 4/12. Should have it at the beginning of May.
I decided to skip the Nav package - too pricey compared to shrink wrapped stuff.
Bose speakers sounding good? You are joking right? There isn't a bigger scam in the audio industry than a Bose "audio" system. I am all for factory audio as it has come along way but for what they charge vs what you actually get...
Sorry to go off topic from the NAV comment but I couldn't resist.
Fish
No highs, no lows, ....must be Bose!
Actually, when everything is working like it is supposed to, an OEM Bose car audio system sounds pretty good. Had one in my 300ZXTT until things started going wrong with it after 10 years, it was just cheaper to replace with Alpine components (does sound better now though).
Bose is made in Boston Ma. not sure where the audiophile is made? Does anyone know?
Still think the bose is a good system. Wife has it in her Armada and 93 Corvette. When it is playing you can hear all the symbols, and other instuments. Our teenagers really crank it up and it handles the power. Have a 10 speaker Premium Delco system in my Firehawk and it is really lousy. My F350 premium sound in my 99 Drw isn't too good either. Looking forward to the audiophile.
Audiophile sounds great to me, especially with my iPod plugged in.
My only disappointment with the NAV is that it does not give you altitude or speed and it makes you press the freaking accept button for terms and conditions every time I turn on the truck since I have the default screen as the map.
