First; I have a 75 Camper Special that a guy would like to buy What do you think is a fair asking price? Its pretty rusty but I was thinking starting at $1200 then go from there.
Second; What rear end gears would you guys recomend running? I have a 70 Ford PU that I made into a lowrider, Im not sure what gears it has now but it will take off really fast, and revs high at higher speeds. I would like to get the revs down a little when Im going down the highway.
Third; I know this isnt the right forum but I just need assurance, a 360 to 390 engine swap should be pretty much bolt in right?
jeff 360 and 390 are physically the same, a direct bolt in.
For hiway cruising if you have an automatic 3 speed, maybe 3.00 to 3.23 range.
For a rusty camper special $1200 sounds like a good place to start. You can always come down, but it's tough to go up.
