Hey, I have a 1993 Bronco with zero rust under doors, rear wheel wells and tailgate just starting. Any hints on how to keep that way other than pulling it into the barn and never driving?
I've read on this board in the past about this. There are several ways:
1. Make sure that you clean up in the fender wells behind all the plastic "sheilding" to clean out any dirt, leaves, or straw, that might hold moisture.
2. In your doors and tailgate, make sure the drain slots at the bottom of each are not clogged w/ debris. The tailgate holes were formed a little too high, so I have heard of people drilling them out a little lower.
3. During every rain storm, stand out side w/ a huge umbrella to make sure it doesn't get wet. (ok, I made up that one.)
4. Keep it clean after you go muddin'. (similar to #1)
