74 window seals needed

74 window seals needed

My 74 Clubwagon has the flip out windows(6) and I have not seen anyone selling the window seal that goes on the body. Does anyone have a source? I have not been by the glass shop.

I need the door glass seals for the roll up windows too.

I have read many other posts on here and just can't get over the help that is offered. Really nice.

You say you have 6 flip out windows, I assume you have right body side hinged doors, correct? The sliding door has one large flip out window, the hinged doors have two (one to each door).

The door glass seals inner and outer (aka "cat whiskers") can usually be found at glass shops. Here are the Ford Part Numbers.

2-C8UZ-8921452-A .. Right hand outer and left hand inner seal.

2-C8UZ-8921453-A .. Left hand outer and right hand inner seal.

Thanks Bill! It has the doors and the windows are tempered. Thanks for letting me know of the different types! Do you have a part number on those?

For all you guys who have been looking for this stuff; here is the business that has it. "Arrow Glass" The guy to ask for is Gary Arrow the owner. His business phone number is: (360) 533-4151. A friend of Gary is a rubbers manufacture in Portland, OR. This guy years ago bought up some of Ford's obsolete rubber extruding dies and one of them is the flip window dies for the Mids; this is the stuff that goes around the outer edge of them. The stuff is $3.45 a foot, which works out to be $20.70 per window. It takes six feet to do each window............... Greg.............. P.S. For all I know the last time this guy laid up these dies was to make me fifty feet of the stuff about three years ago. Gary Arrow spent quit a bit of time finding the right stuff and it turned out that it was a friend of his that had these dies. since there were alot of you wanting this stuff I would get it while you can. I was surprised when Gary said on the phone that he could get it from the same guy.
